Day 3...continued of my Life Changing Iowa adventure...the farm

And here I am....once again at the farm where I spent as many summers as I did at the stables....cherished memories I’d love to share with my boys.  I need video of my GrandDad and time is running out.
The battery’s registering under 20%.
Space on my wee iPhone memory is on warning mode.
Oh boy!
sweet little old farmhouse looks a bit consumed by those bushes....I could help with that when I go back:)

I did manage to capture a few videos so I hope you can find time to watch.

Excuse my....ummmm.....well .....‘I just don’t know what the heck I’m doing’ behavior I seem to easily exhibit, I’m sure I’ll get better at this.

So much revelation was flooding my heart during this trip and I thought I was articulating my process quite well....that is until I see the videos for the first time since recording them....oh boy!

What a blessed lady I’ve been in my life to experience so many cultures, worlds unbelievable adventures....one of which is having spent my summers on this farm. Going back is so much more meaningful to me now that I have kids of my own.  I want them to experience all the goodness that comes from learning hard work, safety, peace on the farm, freedom and yes, as always, adventure starting with the apple orchard and organic garden.

these unusually soft farm kitties have been following me all over today, which included a short nap in my rental car (them not me:)
Mom actually rented a moving truck to get this back to Texas.  She has memories of riding in the back while the grain poured over her.  Check back for the day 4 post to see the video of her telling the story

I don't remember ever seeing that ladder.  When I talked to my mom she said because it was always behind the hay...we'd start piling it along that back wall.  I would love to preserve this old barn & turn it into something unexpected...I have my ideas:)

GrandDad, as you’ll see here, is a PRO!  He’s a pro story teller who also exudes total freedom in speech and worship, with or without a camera on him.  I look up to this remarkable man of faith and hope to share with my boys some face to face memories they’ll never forget!  And if they do I’ll just replay the video.  You see why I need to go back to Iowa.....so many stories to be told, memories to be had, lessons to be learned.   I need about 73 more videos of him.....get me back up there, is what I say.
I actually used to drive these big tractors...more for fun than anything:)  I think I was 13 when I learned.  I asked Mom how old she was and she said FIVE!!!!  I hope I caught that story on video...you'll have to come back to Day 4 to see for yourself.
I bet I could re purpose this feeder...whatcha think? The colors are perfectly vintage....and check out my scarf...I coordinate with the farm feeders!
always a good day for a little silliness:)
don't take yourself too seriously, that's my lesson in this picture.

hope you enjoyed the pictures and maybe even made time to see some videos.  I know it's a LOT for one post:)  Hope it's not irritating.

One more thing before you go, assuming you're still here, have you thought about what Living Decorated means to you?  I'd love to hear a bit about what makes you the special you God created so perfectly beautiful.

Color with Confidence

This post is simply a call to all of you; rise up in confidence and boldly embrace color as your new easy-going, never-offended, always-there FRIEND.
color inspiration can come in the least likely of places: marbles for example
I spent time selecting my favorites from my sons' marble collection.  Then I felt compelled to take a picture.
Hysterical, really!

A little fact about me I don't readily admit (for good reason) is that I sometimes lack confidence when selecting colors to paint a wall and even to create a new work of art.   I may, however, be the only decorator you know who can humbly say "I don't always have it all together" and color is just one of those areas.  The major difference between me and most decorators out there is that I rely on my Maker (the Ultimate Designer of all time....GOD) to help along any process, including each and every client meeting or shopping adventure.

Today, for example, I stood in the center of a community center project I've been off and on for months.  All the selections had been made and ordered aside from ALL the interior wall colors.  The painters need these colors about NOW so I stood there with a color fan and I prayed.  I asked God what He wanted to see in there.   Then I opened the fan and started making selections.  The result: amazing neutral colors (they couldn't stress to me enough how neutral they wanted:) without using ANY beige (thank God), what's more is I'm totally at peace with every selection.
Oooh, look there.... a very important point worth mentioning....always go with the peace inside you.  This is especially true if you trust God to lead you and guide you...even in the simple decisions of life.  This is where you'll experience TRUE confidence!    Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust in Him in everything.

Psalm 32:8 says "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life, I will advise you and watch over you."  I believe it with all that is within me and He always comes through.

Do yourself a favor....pinpoint the colors that make you feel happy, relaxed, at peace, invigorated and even healthy.  What feel to you want to convey in your space?  Don't be afraid to make a mistake....Lord knows I've made my share and then some.
Now's a great time to get to painting ...right before Thanksgiving!

So goodnight, sweet dreams'
love n confidence in who you are.....

garage playtime

This is a test post from my iPad through a new blog app I'm trying out....learning new apps or programs isn't exactly my gifting but I CAN do it!

I can hear the cold front blowing in now and chills surge under my skin

I'm not getting much accomplished tonight.
sitting in my garage reading the Word while everyone in the house sleeps.  Why don't I sleep?  good question!

stand tall :: stand strong

Me and Ko after the open house
These words have been ringing in my head like a sounding gong, tonight especially.  I noticed I've have been walking, sitting and even standing terribly ever since I became a mommy.  My boys stand about 4 months shy of their second and fourth birthdays and all this time my body experienced something I'd compare to two rigorous back-to-back biology experiments

abundant RAIN blessings

praying for provision....abundance....rain
When you dig into the word of God to see what He says about your situation this is what can happen.

one of our plants soaking some rain
Without going into detail about what I'm believing God for I'll tell you this cute little story.

confidence vs. pride

A conversation I had with someone Friday rocked me to the core.

This dear, loving person said (in a roundabout way) that I come across as "pretty full of myself most of the time".  OUCHIE!!!  Who wants to hear that?

FULLY charged with PHOTOS to share

On my way to bed trying to process everything I experienced in the past 4 days at The Sound Worship Conference in Dallas I’ve decided to give you the story in picture form until I can filter through what to share & what bits need to stay private...you know I tend to be an over-sharer (I'm sure that phrase exists...if only for me).

I know in the next few days or weeks some special words will come

what's your dream?

Do you have a dream?  a vision? goals for your life?

Well a random little act we saw at Sea World (the sea lion show) started the wheels turning (you'll have to watch the video).  Now that you've seen the video you'll recall the scene where the young girl is talking to the seal about having a dream to become a detective.  She's driven, focused, ambitious but has proven herself faithful in her current responsibilities.   There are a few directions I can go just with that little 30 second take

Love is Patient :: I think I'll start there

My hubby bought the Love Dare book several years ago and hid it in his desk for a special occasion.   I spotted it after he cleaned out his desk (months ago) & left the remnants in my garage.   Surprise....happy special clean out my desk day:)

a picture we took while being silly in bed years ago....Ahhhh LOVE!
There it sat...on a table next to a comfy chair until a month or so ago after a pretty heated argument when I decided to pick it up.  I read the first day:  "Love is Patient".  I thought to myself boy does HE need

15 tips: staging your bathroom + some healing truths

Tonight I mentioned to a couple friends how behind I am with some things I have to blog on.....staging tips & pictures being one of them....so here you have it.

Our Master Bath quick fix---staging for sale.

OK, lets dive right in.  MESS, right?!?
I mean for starters the color is boring "builder beige"
TIPS:
1.  always leave the toilet seats down....if your home is on the market "always" means ALWAYS
train your husband as you go--(consistency in training really does make a difference)
2.  always close closet doors....just get in the habit now
3.  too much on counter tops--never have brushes, tooth maintenance type stuff, anything personal or yucky to anyone coming in---"neat and tidy"

Clean up---Just after paint process is complete....Marc decides to join in....observe...then leave:)
thx Babe!
more TIPS:
4.  clean clean clean folks....get in the habit of always wiping down your mirror, closing the shower curtain if you have one, empty bits of trash & tidy up each inch of that house
5.  use 100 watt bulbs in light fixtures but leave 40-60 watt in all lamps (which will be on when buyers arrive, right? yes!)

TaaDaa

Finished...somewhat...still need to paint base boards, remove favorite scriptures from the mirror, get one more white towel to match others, change out shower curtain to white and of course deep clean

and yet again...TIPS:
6.  use this opportunity to buy new towels for display, yes, it really does make a difference
7.  paint is usually a great, cheap way to change a room.....so do it.
if color scares you get some help
selling your house is BIG so put some thought, time & money behind it
8.  did I mention toilet seats down?  GOOD!
9.  keep counter clutter to a bare minimum
10.  I recommend leaving all your lamps on for any showing---the house just shows better with mood lighting (not just overhead)
I bought a vintage hanging lamp at an estate sale last year---fits great in this space & takes up NO counter space.  Think outside the box---notice the lamp in the before pic took up space--see tip 9:)
11.  flowers add such a soft touch, especially for this space---don't overwhelm the space though
12.  an artsy display of things you love becomes an interesting focal point without being too distracting from the home's features---I may surprise you with some things I'm doing in some other rooms....more to come on that.
13.  clean out your linen closet as well...fold towels neatly, organize toiletries & personal items...see video for hands on examples
14.  use baskets, bins, plastic containers, even cigar boxes (houses my makeup) work great to hide stuff
15.  use a neutral shower curtain...one of my to-do items is buy a new shower curtain for this room.  Now that I painted a muted plum this blue one no longer fits....go with the style of the bathroom.  Target has some pretty fun yet sophisticated shower curtains.  Myself, I'm gonna hit Tuesday Morning where I buy a load of my linens...better brands, great prices as well....white is good for us because the window is hidden by the shower curtain & white allows more light to stream in.

Things we SHOULD do but don't have it in the budget:
  • replace the sink to a double vanity
  • paint the cabinets white
  • add garden tub
  • change light fixture
  • add bulky frame-out to the mirror (may still do this one)
Just a few staging tips from the laundry list of tips....don't have time to finish them all so step back into my world in a bit (a day,a week or a month later) & I'll  have much more for you:)

Remember, this is a journey, right?
Our journey called "life"....so let's decorate it:)

Joyce Meyer has a daily devotional book out "Love Out Loud"  I've been trying to read it each day (at the breakfast table in my perfect world).  I admit, I just now read today's message... "Let God do the Healing".  It tells the story about how President James A. Garfield in 1881 was shot in the back (after only 6 months in office).  They probed the wound to find the bullet but couldn't.  He died 2 months later, not from the wound but, from the doctors messin' with it.  She goes onto say "when you have a 'wound' of some sort, whether it's a disappointment, a betrayal, being abandoned or rejected, or some other hurtful situation, don't keep probing it.  Go to God and ask Him to heal you in the way He knows is best for you.  Then take your hands off.  Don't try to "fix" yourself, but do follow the Holy Spirit as He leads you into healing & wholeness."  Thanks Joyce!

Well my healing process for me has really been this blog....and videos.  In case you have no idea what I'm talking about (you're new to my blog and me) check out My Daddy page.  I lost my father, tragically, only 2 months ago.  God's hand has been on me every step of the way, when I didn't feel I could get up off the couch or stop crying around every turn.
Let's go back a bit,  the afternoon we found out, (after taking 10 minutes to figure out how to add socks & shoes to my feet while trying to process the news) while on our way to his house, I felt a little nudge to film....can you believe it????   I thought....nope....I'm going crazy....on my way to a nervous breakdown & I want to pick up a camera.....NO WAY!   film this madness???  I didn't listen.  I mean I was a MESS of a MESS of a MESS & I didn't want everyone in the world to see me this way.  So the next day, Saturday Jan 28th on the way to his house (skipping loads of details, of course) I told Marc I had to record.   I knew it was strange, I didn't even a little bit want to record, especially considering the huge chance my husband might find out how truly strange I am:)
teasing..........only slightly:)
So I thought to myself, maybe this isn't for anyone to see, just for me....one day far away.  After talking myself down, I held Marc's iPad in front of my face and hit record.
Words were impossible.....I tried.   I just wept uncontrollably...for what seemed an eternity.  "What are you, crazy?"  came to mind.....again.............but I kept going.
I had to record this ugly, angry, unbearable moment for some reason beyond my thinking.  " I know it's God telling me to do this crazy thing......I've gotta obey....but this is hard!"    Then all of a sudden....out of the clear blue (yes, it was a clear & captivating blue sky)....the pain left..... just for a few moments.......... we all laughed (after I gave my Dad a few choice words I'm sure).
Right then  there......God started my healing process.  Through one solitary moment of obedience.

So I tell you....follow Him!
He knows what's best for you & He can walk you through an impossible situation or hurt in your life with victory....and peace....in Christ.  His way is so much better, eh!???
Alright, last night 2:30am hit me hard so gotta get there quicker tonight:)
Kisses n cake balls ....T
(ooooh, come back soon for the blog all about my adventure tonight...meeting my new gorgeous, young cakeball making genius...more to tell...(with pictures)
I feel like I'm missing something....a link or something.....oh well....set this for auto post so you'll have no idea what time I finally hit the land of pillows and crisp white sheets.

recap of TxSC blogger conference---plus cool pics

You realize after this ancient pause I've been on I have loads to catch you up on....so lets start with 2 weeks ago when I attended the coolest conference ever! A blogger conference:) TxSC  Can you believe it? Yeah!
LOVE the delicate necklaces here
Whitney is wonderful so tell her I sent you
So rather than use a million words (you know I can do it) I'll tell the story with pictures..... (side note of importance) I found out at the conference that about everyone uses Instagram for funky pictures (I, being so disconnected, had only just heard of it). Without an iPhone to use this rockin' app I ended up spending crazy time playing with these pictures to make them look exactly as I think they should....surprisingly without my close friend, Mr. Photoshop. As if my photo editing obstacle wasn't enough, take my little

Pause button no longer activated---Blogging continues

written Saturday....
weekly project:entertain neighbors via front porch....
a sampling of my art for a local paper
(oops, didn't even make the deadline)
After what seems like forever since we've spoken (err, I've spoken...to you) I thought for sure I'd return with some profound truths that would send a tremor through this fallen world.... boy was I wrong!

Several times the past few days I've wanted to blog....share a special moment with you or a quick laugh. Instead I'd stop and thank God above for my blessings--my husband, kiddos, a home to decorate, cowboy boots, carrot cake, and a springtime afternoon. Maybe it was a fast. Have you ever done one of those? The results can be astounding, really! Don't people give things up for lent?---not sure which religion that is, sorry. Anyway, whatever you call it, He helped me regain confidence in where He's taking me.... and this blog.
So there ya have it....no rambling....just me thowin' it out there.

now its Monday....
Well, well, well.  We have the victory!!!  Yesterday while the boys were

stop running frantic--let's refocus together

Ever get so caught up in the day to day grind that you lose sight of the bigger, more important picture?
We all have stuff; work, driving all over the place, returning phone calls, paying the bills, making the beds and finding time to clean the toilets.......we get so caught up that we forget what's really important.

I know, I know you've heard this before...well, maybe you need to hear it again (just like I do) so if you take this sweet little moment with me...I’ll remind BOTH of us of what’s important.

First, let me go back just a bit: about a year ago God said to me "blog & YouTube"which totally caught me off guard sinceor seen one.  Honestly, I didn’t care what those “self-centered weirdo’s” out there (sorry to my new blogger friends for that stupid stereotype) had to say.
I had never even opened a blog

Having no idea what He meant with “YouTube” I started my blog! ..... I muddled through the first 9 months or so loathing every minute of it.  Ya see, I was forcing myself to obey without actually seeking Him and understanding HIS timing for the thing.  I ran full speed ahead (as I do with most things)....I left God in the dust.   However, finally.....I slowed down enough to ask God “what’s up?...I’m not enjoying myself here...help me out”.

Back in December God showed me some pretty powerful things about my blog and what’s to come and let me just say WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I didn’t miss it....I’m on the right track! It’s gonna be BIG!!! Bigger and better than I could ever dream of doing..... on my own, that is!  However, nothing is impossible with God and I don’t have to do it on my ownI just have to obey & He’ll do the rest. And ya know what?

I love it now....every minute of it.

(little bunny trail for ya)
I love sharing my heart with you...sharing interesting places to go...things to do...things to see....staging tips... décor ideas ....really anything I think you need to know or do.... for YOU to live a decorated life.  Let’s not forget my real passion......to encourage YOU.

Too many people out there tell you you’re not good enough or you’re not going to do that or have that.  I’m here to tell you just the opposite.....you CAN do it, have it, be it!

On the other hand...... who really cares what I have to say, right?!?

(slowly...say it with me)  Aaaaahhhhh...but God cares!  He cares about YOU!  He loves you so much that He sent His son Jesus to lay down His life for you...yes, YOU!
(ahh, back on track...bye bye bunny trail)
Why did I start this post out by reminding you how busy your life is---as if you didn’t already know?  What’s all this talk about remembering what's important?  what is important?
God...your relationship with Him, your knowledge of Him through His word.  For me, this means I need some time to really focus on God, to give Him all of me.... and to be the best mama and wife I can be..... to walk this out with VICTORY...not simply mediocrity.
I want the greatness He has for me as I yield my life, thoughts, habits, relationships and even this blog to HIM!

So I’m coming to you today with an open heart, transparent as I can be to say I'm taking a bit of a blogger break. (no clue how longwe shall see)
I’ll be taking notes as I go so I can share the bits He wants me to share when the time is right...

I encourage you to join me on this adventure....get alone with Him & tell Him how much you love Him...how grateful you are for all He's done in your life. I know God wants to tell us something....to do something IN us....YOU and ME....right now!

I pray that we...you and I....as we embark on this journey.... hear from God in EVERY area of our lives.   I pray your life is changed forever by spending time with your Maker.
I pray that when I return to post those tidbits of truths (some deep, some shallow and even those quite random bits) the person reading will get what he or she needs and be blessed....isn’t that what it means to live decorated anyway?!?

I’ll miss you
many changes to take place, starting here & now, so stick with me & we'll do great things!!!!

Hugs n way lots of love to keep you until we speak again,

Trish

P.S. here's a little something to leave you with.... didn't even have enough memory tank for the end of the video:)

P.S.S.  as I read this to my husband we talked about our different writing styles.  I said, I feel it’s a bit “messy”...he just laughed!  He said “that’s just how you talk...you’re all over the place.”  Great!  What am I to do with that?    Maybe my messy is ok....how will I know?
  Alright, enough already, I’m out......kisses!

more letters...can you believe it???

If you're following my world in the past month you know all about the letters we were praying for, right?  Well today I felt a strong leading (I know this was the Holy Spirit!) to open this plastic container that had been under my dresser forever (oh, yeah...it was even in the "jewelry display" video) and I hadn't opened it or looked inside in at least 3 years.  So I open it up & look under one thing and voila!!!  All these letters my dad had sent me from 1998 to maybe 2004.

HOW FUN!  right?!?!

He is hysterical, ya know?!  He would draw a little man running if he had to leave the letter to go get something.  He tells stories of his childhood that would knock you over! He would try to sign his name like I do mine with a bunch of squiggly lines and give me a hard time for funny things I did, then reminded me of them:)  How much fun I'm having!!!!  God is so good....and SO funny!!!!

"All things are possible to him that believes."  Mark 9:23  I say that because last night Marc & I had powerful praise & worship in our study and this morning some quality time with God before the kids woke up....and ya know what?  We both had a beautiful and productive day.  I staged the house for pictures & that video, had quality--not rushed time with both boys, weeded the ENTIRE overgrown "garden" that runs the entire length of the back yard, watched Koen take his first 3 steps (in a row), taught him to climb the ladder on the playground, made some calls, did some computer work and kept the house picked up all day.  WOW!  Talk about a miracle!!!

Expect Mircales....they happen!
 Do you believe????

The Letters..total miracle here... funny, heart warming video to boot

Ok....the story I keep telling you I'll share....yes, it has taken a while.

God answered our prayers for THE LETTERS in an amazing & totally unexpected way.  I thank God for the Robertson family! Just watch!

since 1971...you can even see my parents wedding picture--the original
newspaper clipping...tremendous!

such a profound statement!

Eat More Pie...and pray for someone...maybe not at the same time:)

After a really long day I nearly went to bed just nowthen remembered I had some things to share with you.  You see, you’re part of the family & I must share with you the little nuggets of the day.  How are you living decorated today?  Have you written down your vision yet?  Takes some time, eh?  Well, as long as you’re being honest with yourself & moving forward no one can give you a hard time, least of all me:)
A few things I want to share about today... but let me rewind to yesterday briefly to tell you about a great lady who lives decorated by doing what God has truly gifted her to do & surrounding herself with things & people she loves.  Julie owns Texas Pie Company in Kyle, TX and if you haven’t been you MUST go.  We went yesterday & I was immediately inspired by the Eat More Pie signI mean HELLO.totally my motto.  Maybe you can add ALL desserts to that tag line then it would be more “me”.  Anyway, she had just made this funky chandelier out of utensils (how fitting) and the unique guitars I guess she made as well. There are loads of write-ups about this place featured one one wall & the other is filled with pictures of her family...inspiring! So check her out & you’ll certainly be back for more.  Say hi to Shana when you go!

Now I jump forward to my “today”.  I received a voicemail that my dearest best friend just lost her Mimi & is in San Antonio.  I loaded the kids in the car as soon as I unloaded the groceries (and played with the lost dog who wouldn’t leave our yard) then headed her way.  My friend is one of the kindest women you will EVER meet with such a heart for God, Jesus & her family.  To see her hurting is nearly unbearable.  After catching up on each other’s lives she asked that I pray for her. We put the kids in front of the TV (no worries, it was wholesome programming) and we headed to the car with Koko. I thank God for answered prayer!
I was inspired to share for this reason; someone may have asked you (or will ask you) “pray for me” and what better gift than to stop everything you’re doing and pray right then and there?  Time doesn’t always allow but when it doeswhen you MAKE time I promise when you see prayers answered.  there is no greater gift or way to beautify your life by sacrificing for someone you lovesomeone God loves!   She has VICTORY TODAY.by faith she received it!!!
Thanks for letting me share that very close-to-my-heart story from my day’s adventure.  And a road trip is always a great way to shut everything out & touch base with your Creator.  Watch the clouds roll in (or around) as you chug along.
Jumping a bit more ahead: remember that cute dog?  Well while driving to SA I prayed & asked God to have His perfect will with that curly bundle of love.  SO.sure enough when Marc got home he was still herejust as adorable as can be.  I gave him a bath (with Tiernan’s help, of course) and now he’s waiting for me in my bed.  Even as I write this I have tears peaking in my eyes. Do you know how much I miss Paisey Poostill?!  This may be an answer to prayer (even though I promise I did NOT pray for another animal)
Did I steal someone else’s dog, you ask?  NO!  I went door to door in the cold trying to find his home (even though I admit I hoped against it).  I left my card on houses, left flyers near both mail centers.now I pray he will be in the perfect home for him.  Sorry for the length of this one but you’re probably already signed off & I’m all alone hereoh, well.  I LOVE HIM!
Disclaimer:  I would NEVER want to take someone else’s dog (or make a little kid cry) so I have to do all in my power to find his home but he acts as if he’s been here forever.  Hopefully he’s potty trained:)

New Years Resolution...finally ready to put into motion:

Marinade a bit let my words sink indeep
ready?
I have these two amazing friends.  One young, gorgeous, confident, loud and extremely hip, the other soft-spoken, gentle, private and longing to be as classy on the outside as she is inside.both amazing women for totally different reasons.  Common denominators: They LOVE peoplethey LOVE the Lordand they walk it out! They’re not ashamed of who they are or who He is.  Not embarrassed to share this amazing Gift.
Handing out tracts.
Praying for others & expecting immediate healing or provision (and seeing it).
Inviting people over just to share the Good News.
Telling strangers about who He is.  Do you know who He is?

Along the same lines, God is dealing with me about something big“love”.  Lovewhat a word?  I love people, I do.  I love my husband, that’s for sure.  I love those amazing boys He has so graciously given me.  But do I walk in love all the time?  No!  Do I walk in love half the time?  Most likely NOT!  That’s why He’s dealing with me so greatly right nowabout this one big thing.  You know why it’s “big” because He IS LOVE!
So here are my goals as of January 1NOT a New Year’s Resolution, but real goals.
Loving the Lord by always putting Him first
Loving my husband without expectations or limitations or judgement
Loving my children “out loud” and just the way they need to be loved
Loving my neighbor as myself…even those I don’t really like very muchJ  We all have ‘em, right?
I might not always get it right but no one is perfect… I will get up and keep tryingJ  Love
Love

And this yearexpect BIG things as you start the most amazing adventure of your life.  Oh man, Marc & I were just talking about this today.  I have always, and I mean since the Big Bend trip with Melissa --that story is at least 3 hours long if we get together to tell it—so basically-- always treated my life as an adventure.
Who would I meet next?
What city would I be in next week?
What country?
What new place could I find for some local flavor?
But never during all that traveling did I feel a need to tell anyone about Jesus.well it all ends here folks.  I have friends all over the world & soon it’ll be time to visit & share with them the Love that IS God!  Whoohoo.

Hello worldHere I am!  Here we are!  Here He is!!!!!!  Oh Lord, give me the strength to ride this ride & be all that YOU want me to be.  I give You my all.  I surrender and gratefully expect Your Blessings to pour out for me and that all those around me will be affected by the Love that lives inside of us.  I expect great things from here on outmy New Year’s Resolutionthere you have it folks!  Expect Great things!

Bottom line for starting the year out right is accepting Jesus into your heart.  Right here & now.  Insead of hiding behind clever words (which I usually don’t have anyway) I’m just gonna tell you ….life isn’t really lived until you have Jesus on your side.  The real adventure begins now.
John 3:16
