like the change? It feels more clean & ME:) that was 2 hours of work now.....for the hard part. I must figure out the whole side panel craziness. You'll know what I mean after the change...for now just sit tight & wait for the final staging shots of my boys' room....on their way.
enjoy & be inspired:)

I met some truly amazing amazing lovely beautiful ladies this weekend....all touched my life in a unique way and I can't wait to share my experience with you over the next week....for now....
I can quickly give you a taste of what's to come:
-
- Total change of the "look" of my site or my brand or my overall feel because it doesn't really reflect my life/world/outlook/message and I need to learn more about this limiting Blogger avenue in order to do this....google search & lots of time in front of the computer
- better flow or you may say "focus"
- more of the Staging Series I've been working on ..loads of interest in staging from multiple sources so I'll certainly provide my readers MORE!
- WAY more....of my show. more guests, interviews, decor tips, inspiration, encouragement and LOVE coming your way
- a diddy...or a jingle I guess you'd call it. Its in the works & when I get my voice back I'll be recording it...and it'll play at the start of all my episodes...woohoo!
- last but not least I'm going to introduce you to some great stores, artists and bloggers and why I love them.
- ok....really this is last one....LESS words! Can you imagine I could convey a message with less than 10,000 words:) I know, right!
TxSC Symposium: one of the panel of experts who taught me some good bits....will share as time allows:)
love, hugs and ni-night

- refolded all Tiernan's clothes & moved 'em into new dresser drawers

going to bed without completing my project---would finish if I could nail holes in the wall and move a dresser all alone without infuriating my Honey at midnight:)
what I didn't do:
- dishes
- picking up whole house of toys, clothes & misc. messes (3 boys to keep up after)
- drink enough water
- move the new dresser inside:( sadly
- hang wall art in newly designed space
- put away all laundry (as you can see from this pic)

late night work in progress---staging my boys room
mini blog pause!
![]() |
before (pic of bed for CL actually)
what does that mean? it means I gotta share what's up in the midst of this FUN evening. Missed the first night of the TxSC blogger conference....the swap party to have a deeply needed date night with my Honey. Now that our oldest is staying over at the in-laws (thanks Mimi & Papa) I can get some work done.

about to paint baseboards--- leaving funky tree art :)
Sold the bunk bed on craigslist today (part of my staging series I'm in the process of adding to the blog), took it apart just now....cleaned baseboards and about to start painting....yes at 10pm I'm starting my work. clean his floors, paint his baseboards, set morning coffee, fold laundry....
.....and oh, what am I to wear tomorrow to spend all day in and out of the rain with a bunch of young, cute, hip fashionista blogger women I've never met. Do I even have anything in my closet to live up to this kind of pressure???? We shall see...most likely LAST on my to do list tonight, if even at all:) See you ladies tomorrow (HA! as if they're up reading MY blog:)

Dine at the Winery...AND give it all--big or small--to God in prayer
Groupon! Don’t you love it?
Dinner with my family (Marc and the boys) tonight at Mandola’s Winery in Driftwood was stellar thanks to groupon. When you have a chance, take a country drive to this stunning winery….sunset is best!
its amazing and guess what else the staff is so lovely & attentive. http://trattorialisina.com/ check 'em out on the web too

Side note and one that must be mentioned if you’re to live a decorated life: TIP WELL! I would love to tip $100 each time I have someone like our waitress, Cat (oops, didn’t ask if that was with a C or a K). She’s served us before & she actually remembered us (or seemed to)……well she was superb & guess what… just ONE week ago she married the Sous Chef. I wish I could’ve given $100 just to bless her stepping into this new phase of her life. There will be a day when I can drop that kind of cash & it’s coming SOON! (I almost asked if I could take a picture with her for my blog but I felt weird.....I know, right....ME?! Didn't want to weird her out:)
Oh man, I nearly forgot the reason for my blog…..to share the power of prayer with you. Tonight on the way to the restaurant we prayed over our family, our kids & specifically our time together at this special place…..for there to be peace & kindness. Our prayers were answered. Our kids (aside from the water spill, sporadic yelling “hello”, and spaghetti sauce all over everything) were a delight to behold. Supernatural grace covered our dining experience. Cat (or Kat) even used the word “delightful” herself. Thanks God for a beautiful experience with my family.
Give it to God no matter how small or big of a thing you face.
Big for us right now is selling a house. We have this house on the market that was set to close in a couple weeks ….the deal fell through. We NEED this house to sell in a BIG way folks! Are we worried? NOPE….not a single little tiny itty bitty bit! We prayed, gave it to God & now He’s in charge of that thing that concerns us. I’d rather have Him in charge than be in constant fear or worry. So no matter what you face, dinner with family or a major financial shift, give it ALL to God….He cares for you.
Check it out…His word even tells us that very thing so I know its true: 1 Peter 5:7Casting the whole of your care (all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all) on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
Love ya’ll,
Trish

Rudeness stole my sleep....God's way of getting my attention
Shaken from a deep sleep by a dream where I encountered a pointedly rude salesperson at a certain yummy eatery that will remain unnamed. (Primarily because I'm not sure if the place exists as I sit in my dreamy haze) So why, I ask myself, did I allow her snottiness to raise me from my cozy slumber?
To tell you this.....live decorated!
Really?!?!!
Sometimes circumstances aren't as perfect as we'd like them to be....get over it! The Bible said in James 1 to "count it all JOY when you fall into various trials & temptations"....this is where my life motto comes into play, live decorated .....by choosing to renew your mind with the Word of God instead of your own stinkin' thinkin' you make your world a better place to live....therefore affecting others around you for the better.
I know its hard!
I had to do it and I didn't want to read that passage because "joy" is not what I "counted" anything while going through this storm.
Here's another dose of some nasty truth....we're dealing with our son about having a "happy heart" even when he doesn't get his way instead of throwing fits and growling. Sounds familiar. (ok, maybe not the growling) I'm currently learning the same lesson here folks and that could be the very reason...... his heart was mirroring mine.....YUCK!!!!
This is a lot for me to digest at this wee morning hour so I'll have to pray, give it to God, see if I know that woman in my dream (she asked me to take her out of my blog and believe me I would never send my readers to a place that would treat them so poorly:) and get back to sleep. I'd love to actually learn this lesson so I don't have to repeat it......yet again.
Read all of James chapter 1 just to get the big picture of what I'm trying to convey and let it marinate in your heart....then maybe your outlook will be more in focus using the lenses of His Word, which is His promise to you & me. Jesus came to give us life, and life more abundantly.....which is somewhere in that Book....doesn't come to me right now.
I'm striving for JOY so please join me!
hugs n love & good rest
Trish
To tell you this.....live decorated!
Really?!?!!
You think I could come up with a better message!
But really, read on..... decorate your life by being kind to those around you, even those you may not know. Get a grip on your attitude when you just don't feel like being sweet. You never know how your words, actions, body language can affect another person...it may even steal their sleep:) so STOP being ugly!
Wanna go a bit deeper? Well too bad, we're going.....would you like to be let in on a little secret? One that just now came to me as I'm typing this message? (God is so GOOD how He opens my eyes to things while I'm blogging)
You wanna know how I know so much about this first hand? Because I allowed circumstances around me to steal my peace and joy and emit a foul smelling aroma that seemed to radiate from my every pore. (leave it to God to put it so .....uh........gently) I had to do it and I didn't want to read that passage because "joy" is not what I "counted" anything while going through this storm.
